Birds of Bexley publication – comments sought on early draft

Bexley RSPB stalwart Ralph Todd is hard at work on a book entitled ‘Birds of Bexley’, covering the birds recorded in the Borough primarily during the period from 1935 to the present. Indeed he ceased production of his six-monthly, then annual Bexley Bird Reports in order to concentrate on this project. The draft so far is posted below. The content is being set out in pretty much the same way as in the annual London Bird Reports of the London Natural History Society. He is interested in receiving comments on presentational style, some of the more detailed data to include or leave out, the individual species profiles written up so far and other aspects of the publication. More detail on the matters upon which he is seeking guidance are set out in the document itself. Please send any thoughts direct to him at <rrtodd@hotmail.co.uk>
