Bexley RSPB collects used postage stamps and turns them into money. Even the common UK stamps are worth something as collectors will sift through them looking for printing flaws that may increase their value. Please leave stamps attached to the envelope material with an approximately 1cm border around the stamp
The scheme co-ordinator is Alan Mayes. Contact him at <firstname.lastname@example.org> to make arrangements for getting your stamps to him, or take along to any Bexley RSPB meeting (see calendar for listing) .
UNWANTED BINOCULARS AND TELESCOPES
The RSPB supports overseas conservation organisations, education groups and communities by providing thousands of pairs of second-hand binoculars and telescopes.
The society will take any unwanted optics equipment that is in good working order and get it to bird-related groups and projects round the world which do not have the kinds of resources we take for granted.
