Calendar

Calendar users are strongly advised to check with leaders of events before travelling (where contact details are given), especially if bad weather is forecast, as they may sometimes have to be cancelled or re-arranged at short notice. Events with a hash (#) have been notified to us as potentially subject to a change of date and/or time. We publish this information in good faith, but sometimes late changes are made that do not get brought to our attention in time to amend the calendar before the event is due to take place.

* Woodlands Farm nestbox checksWoodlands Farm nestbox checks

Time: 10:00 am

Wednesday 6th December - 10am. We shall do our annual stroll around the farm recording wildlife boxes - bat, bird. Mainly checking they are all still there and also checking the dormouse boxes. As there are no dormice on the farm, that is all about finding other interesting things left behind from other mystery box users. Let me know if you are able to come along. Remember that during the quiet time of surveys there is normally a lot of conservation work going on at the weekend with bramble bashing and hedge laying. So if you feel like trying those I am sure the weekend team would be grateful of the help. Otherwise I shall be emailing out at the beginning of 2018 about surveys and conservation work going on in the new year.
