Ruxley hit by bad weather
Ruxley Gravel Pits Nature Reserve [Kent Wildlife Trust] RGPNR
Sunday 10th December 2017
Report by Honorary Secretary Martin Watts
As you know bad weather resulted in the abandonment of our Task Day on Sunday 10th December 2017.
However, popped round to see the tip site, now gone, with the gates now locked & blocked.
We may have the path towards the south of the tip site on the Reserve back soon.
Here a couple of comparison pics from the same position from just after the fire in March 2017 & today 10th December 2017.
You can still visit the reserve any time by purchasing a key & permit from Martin Watts, Honorary Secretary [by email to email@example.com telephone 01322 528 570]. They cost £10.00 & are valid until March 2018.

Pochard and Little Egret were the highlights of the visit, the report of which was provided to us soon afterwards by the authors but the posting of which has been held up by computer and other issues at 'BW' HQ ....
